Gary A. Heiman, assistant professor in the Department of Genetics, and Jay A. Tischfield, Duncan and Nancy MacMillan Distinguished Professor in the Department of Genetics and Executive Director of the Human Genetics Institute of New Jersey, are the principal investigators on an award totaling $50,000. This project, which is entitled "Center of Excellence for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders Genetics Repository", is being supported by the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders, Inc. The goal of this project is to continue to ascertain, clinically phenotype, and reposit biologics from families with a proband affected with Tourette syndrome.
