Description: Introduction to the mechanisms of heredity and evolution. Mechanisms of Mendelian inheritance, meiosis, recombination, gene mutation and mapping, and an introduction to modern biochemical, molecular, and population genetics. Lec. 3 hrs., rec. 1 hr.
