"Monitoring Clonal Dynamics of Cancer in the Clinic"

Advances in sequencing technology  allow both high-depth analysis of primary tumor specimens to guide treatment and monitoring of tumor evolution under targeted treatment  through serial analysis of ctDNA in plasma. This ability to monitor clonal evolution of cancer under selection pressure of treatment  in the clinic has led to new insights into cancer biology and mechanisms of primary and acquired resistance.  Illustrative cases and new methods to analyze and interpret high-depth clinical tumor sequencing data will be presented and discussed.
