“Gene-by-Environment Interactions in Cardiovascular Disease: Next Steps”

Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is characterized by potent environmental risk factors, such as diet, smoking, and sedentary life-style.  This talk will describe our attempts to identify genetic associations in the setting of two less studied CVD risk factors, air pollution and stress, and the next steps to understand these genetic effects.
