"Epigenic Mechanisms of Stress-Induced Depression"

Stressful events are potent adverse environmental factors that can predispose individuals to psychiatric disorders such as major depression. In this seminar, I will focus on the role of epigenetic mechanisms in stress resilience and susceptibility in rodents and briefly discuss promising avenues of future investigation.
