“Sexual selection and the female nervous system in Drosophila”

Natural and sexual selection shape the nervous system to orchestrate context-appropriate behavior and physiology. Through two stories on a novel female courtship behavior and on a biased sperm usage strategy, respectively, I propose that the female nervous system in Drosophila represents a new frontier for studying the function and evolution of reproductive.
