“The schizophrenia-associated 3q29 deletion: when genetics and psychiatry meet”

The 3q29 deletion, with its 40-fold increased risk for schizophrenia, is a high-value target for understanding the molecular and cellular insults that lead to schizophrenia. I will discuss results from deep phenotyping and neuroimaging of human subjects, as well as cutting edge molecular neuroscience data.
